| Report A season opening showdown between Torexe’s two Division 2 teams this year provided a highly competitive match with some top quality Volleyball and a fiery atmosphere! Warriors opened with a strong start, taking the opening set with some confident volleyball, but in the 2nd set, Raiders found their groove leading all the way until Warriors were able to take the key points when it mattered. A shocking start to the 3rd set for Warriors meant they were 9 points down at one point, but they dug deep and found a remarkable comeback to take the win. The 3rd and 4th sets went to Raiders as Warriors never quite found the same tempo after that 3rd set thriller. A really enjoyable, well tempered and friendly game with some great moments, a fantastic start to the season. |
