| Report With both teams fielding a mix of youth and experience, this had the makings of being a very close match and so it proved over the first couple of sets with Exeter Storm holding the advantage in the first set. Amazons rallied in the second set with a slender lead until the last few points when Storm fought back to close out the set. This knocked Amazons back and they took a “rest” in the third before a very tight close fought 4th set that went to 24 all before Storm took the last couple of points. The fifth was time for Storm to take a break and Amazons gained a consolation point. |
